In the Voices of the Pacific Flyway, a short documentary produced by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, you will hear how shorebirds connect communities up and down the Pacific Americas Flyway.
The shorebirds in the film are doing the heavy lifting with their seasonal migrations that let them take full advantage of the resources along the flywayʻs habitats. But the common thread is the people along the way, from Hopper Bay, Alaska to the Baja Peninsula and Grays Harbor, Washington.
The film wraps in subsistence, culture, celebration and research related to the birds breeding, wintering and stopover habitats.
