Pacific Birds 2020 Partnership Grant RFP is open. If you have a project that can be completed by June, 2021, and it is within the U.S. portion of Pacific Birds, then consider applying. It is a short window, with proposals due back to us by mid-July.
We are especially interested in projects that fall within our three conservation priorities–Oak and Prairie, Hawaiʻi Wetlands and Pacific Northwest Coastal Wetlands. We will also put a premium on proposals that have a partnership component. And, if an existing projectʻs funding has been affected by COVID-19 and falls within our priorities and criteria, we are interested in helping.
Donʻt forget that Pacific Birds is a Migratory Bird Joint Venture that focuses on sustaining bird populations and conserving their habitats. Your project does not need to directly conserve habitat, as in an on-the-ground project, but your proposal needs to clearly connect your actions with a long-term benefit to bird populations or the habitats they need.
