First of all, thank you for your conservation work!
Pacific Birds has been reporting annual habitat accomplishments to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service since our inception in 1991. As a Joint Venture, our role is to not only help partners find and secure project funding, but to report back on completed project acres.
We recognize that our partners usually need to report their projects back to a variety of funders, so we work with some agencies directly to capture projects. The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board and the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office, both of which are involved with multiple federal and state funding programs, provide us with cumulative annual habitat accomplishments. If your project involved those agencies, we've got it! We also work with the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts to get summary information about land trust projects. If you are in Washington, Alaska or Hawaiʻi, or within the Pacific Birds region in Northwest California, please contact Sara Evans Peters if you would like more information or help with the forms. The reporting does not apply to our partners in British Columbia.
FIND THE REPORTING FORM HERE. It is easy to do. We need the forms completed by August 31st.
