Director of Terrestrial Habitat, B.C. Ministry of Water, Lands and Resource Stewardship
Kim Richardson is the Director of Terrestrial Habitat with the B.C. Ministry of Water, Lands and Resource Stewardship. Based in Victoria, B.C., Kim and her team lead the conservation lands program including working with partners to identify opportunities for new conservation lands designations and the ongoing management of existing conservation lands. Kim has an academic background in natural resource management (UNBC) and forest biology (UVIC), with her career focused on ecological systems, conservation prioritization and species at risk. With a keen passion for working collaboratively, Kim strives to work with partners to advance ecosystem and wildlife habitat management across B.C.
