The Pacific Birds Partnership Grant Program 2023 Request for Proposals is now open! We invite proposals that align with the goals of our conservation priorities and meet the criteria summarized below and in the RFP. The application deadline is June 23rd.
There are many ways to help advance conservation and sustain bird populations. We will consider projects that raise awareness about birds and why birds matter, directly conserve habitat, increase knowledge or develop data layers that inform conservation work, increase capacity, or create or support local partnerships centered on our priority habitats.
We are particularly interested in projects that directly benefit birds and biodiversity, and in innovative projects that bring new people and organizations to the Pacific Birds partnership. Proposals led by Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities working to advance Indigenous priorities within the scope of this opportunity are encouraged to apply.
Conservation work should be located in Alaska, Hawaiʻi, or the western portions of Washington, Oregon and northern California. Projects that have a match contribution or show additional partner interest will receive stronger consideration. Grant applications will be accepted up to a maximum of $15,000 but most awards will be in the range of $5,000 to $10,000.
