Join Pacific Birds and Partners for the statewide Hawaiʻi Predator Control and Wetland Workshop, focusing on wetland management and predator control across all habitats in Hawaiʻi.
The Workshop will bring together experts from Hawaiʻi and beyond to share practical management expertise, knowledge, and stories around wetlands and predator control. A unifying theme of the Workshop is predator control techniques that keep Hawaiʻi’s native flora and fauna thriving. Topics include wetland restoration efforts considering climate change, indigenous agro-ecology, approaches to predator and habitat management, and current research.
When: April 16-18, 2024
Where: Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Kahului, Maui
Registration includes all field trips and social events. There is reduced pricing for nonprofits, farmers and students. Stipends will be available to support those who might not otherwise be able to attend. Register on the workshop website.
