Pacific Birds is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Dr. Fern Duvall Conservation and Collaboration Award. Please consider nominating a conservation friend or partner for this annual award, started to honor Fernʻs incredible legacy.
Fern was a long-time Pacific Birds Habitat Joint Venture champion, board member, and treasured Hawai’i Conservation community member. You can read a memoriam to Fern here.
We are looking to celebrate someone in the Pacific Birds region who embodies the innovative, inclusive, humble, and collaborative spirit that Fern brought to conservation endeavors. These are the core characteristics that the award seeks to celebrate.
Awardees will receive up to $1,000 worth of supplies that support their conservation work.
