Pacific Birds is thrilled to announce that Robin Lawson is the newest member of the Pacific Birds International Management Board. The Board is comprised of the U.S. and Canada Steering Committees, which together provide overall leadership, guidance, and governance so that the Joint Venture can accomplish its conservation goals.
Robin Lawson is the Program Director at Wildlife Habitat Canada. Originally from rural southwestern Ontario, Robin earned a degree in Environment and Sustainability from Acadia University. She began her conservation career with the Nature Conservancy of Canada holding positions in communications, development, volunteer management and visitor engagement. Robin later contributed to conservation research and policy development with the Centre for Land Conservation. Now based in Montreal, but working in conservation at a national scale, she continues to channel her expertise and commitment to conservation volunteering for the Canadian Committee for the IUCN.
Please help us welcome Robin to Pacific Birds!
